BANNING, CA — Poison Spyder Customs, Inc., one of America’s leading manufacturers of hard core Jeep body armor and accessories, recently completed moving and expanding its Banning, California facilities.  This is the second move and third major expansion for the young company, fueled by growing demand for its highly coveted Jeep accessory products. “We started 3 years ago in a small 50 by 60 metal building behind my house,” says Larry McRae, president of Poison Spyder Customs. “A year and a half ago we were bursting at the seams so we moved into a 7500 square foot unit that seemed like the Taj Majal to us,” explains McRae, “but we quickly outgrew that too and now we’re expanding again.”

At 20,000 square feet, Poison Spyder’s new facilities more than double its floor space, providing increased room for production, warehousing, product development and office space.  “Like each of our past expansions, we are once again driven by the steady growth in demand for our products,” notes Poison Spyder General Manager Shad Kennedy.  “But rather than just keeping up with current demand, this move allows us prepare for the future, with plenty of room to grow our production capacity and vertically integrate more of our production processes.”

The company has managed to grow steadily in an otherwise sluggish economy.  “We started this company at the low point of the economic recession.  Its a tough market and we work hard to earn every customer,” said Poison Spyder Marketing Director Dusty Sharp, “so we’re excited about the future—we’re preparing for even greater things when the general economy finally starts heating back up.”

Poison Spyder Customs, Inc.’s new facilities are located at 1177 W. Lincoln #100A, Banning, CA  92220.
