TOOELE, UT–  Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy, charges the podium with another 3rd place finish in SuperLite class at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Race (LOORRS) round 8 at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT.  Hagy traditionally known as a Freestyle MX rider is proving that the Ox brand truck needs to stay on the podium this short course racing season.

“The course at Miller Motorsports park is super challenging,” said Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy. “This was my first time racing this course and I was leading the entire race on Saturday until I had a mechanical failure on the last lap. I was determined that I would finish the weekend on the podium. My determination paid off!”

Hagy started the season off right with a solid performance during the LOORRS season opener with a 3rd place podium and back it up at Firestone in Arizona with a 2nd place finish during round 5 and a 3rd place in round 6. During his desert racing debut this season at the BITD Mint 400 he took home a strong 2nd place finish in the 7200 class. Glen Helen is up next and Hagy is focused on making this race a 1st place finish!

The “Ox” brand SuperLite is a race team that has been started to honor the memory of Off-Road/Freestyle MX/Baja MX racer Jeff “Ox” Kargola. Kargola was establishing a promising racing career in the LOORRS series until his tragic accident in Baja April 29, 2011.  In the spirit of Kargola’s passion for racing, the “Ox” brand truck will race in his memory with close friend Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy in the driver’s seat. The “Ox” truck will be a sister truck to Kargola’s SuperLite race truck.  The design of the truck is inspired by Kargola’s new 2011 design.

Ryan “Fluffer” Hagy known for his style in Freestyle MX and director of Metal Mulisha clothing has proven this year he has a solid career as an off-road racer. Hagy’s off-road sponsors include Ox Brand, General Tire, Metal Mulisha, Vali Motorsports, 4 Wheel Parts, Impact Helmets and Method Wheels.  Ox Brand will be title for the 2012 season.  If you interested in supporting the Jeff “Ox” Kargola Memorial fund, t-shirts are being sold at all proceeds going to help support the San Felipe Hospital in Mexico.
