Fort Mill, SC – February 27, 2012 – General Tire has been named a contingency sponsor for the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series beginning in 2012. General Tire will be the only tire manufacturer offering a cash contingency award for the regional series who will host races in California and Arizona. General Tire’s support of the series is in an effort to help foster up-and-coming talent in off-road short course racing.

The cash award will be available to the following classes; Pro Open (2/4/Lite), Mini Open (1450/Trophylite), Full Stock Trucks, Pro Buggy, 1600 Desert Buggy, Lite Buggy Class 9, Open V8 Trucks, Ultra 4, Mini Stock Trucks, Limited Buggy, Desert Buggy, Beehive 1450 Classic (June/Sept/November only).
