Adam Householder just keeps getting faster and faster.  After starting 28th off the line at Best In The Desert’s (BITD) Silver State 300 earlier this season, Householder shocked the competition and brought home his first Trick Truck win (BITD’s equivalent of SCORE Trophy Trucks).  Since that time Householder has consistently put the No. 24 Householder Motorsports Ford near the top of the standings in both BITD and SCORE International; the only driver to earn Top Five season standings in the most elite class of each of these series.

The final BITD race of the season, the TransWest Ford Henderson 250 saw Adam qualify 18th overall (8th in Trick Truck), but he has already proven that he does not need clean air in order to finish on top.  “I don’t let qualifying dictate my race performance,” Householder commented after the race.  “Starting in back takes the pressure off, and thanks to our BFGoodrich Tires we were able to pass a lot of teams changing flats.”  Householder drove the entire race, with Russell Hampton navigating and Adam’s father and veteran racer Terry Householder orchestrating logistics.

Householder was able to make time on the competition in the No. 24 Householder Motorsports Ford to finish first in Class 1400 (Trick Truck).  In doing so, he was the only Trick Truck driver to win two BITD races this season.  “We came into the season looking for Top 5 finishes, so to win two races is unbelievable,” the always humble Householder admitted.  “Next season our expectations are going to be a lot higher, we have proven we have what it takes to win.”

This was a win not just for Householder Motorsports, but what they represent in each and every one of us.  Passion, hard work, and perseverance can overcome even the largest competitors’ budgets.  Look out for Householder Motorsports next season, and follow the latest race updates on Twitter @HouseholderRace.  If you are interested in sponsoring a proven race program that produces results contact Terry Householder at 714-920-0301.
