San Bernardino, Calif.  – The intense racing of the Yamaha Quad-X Series comes to Glen Helen Raceway this weekend to kick off the second half of the season with back-to-back races on Saturday and Sunday. Come to see some of the best ATV racers in the southwest battle for victory on one of Southern California’s most esteemed racetracks.

Last year’s champion – Yamaha-mounted Dustin Nelson – has been perfect throughout the first half of the season, taking 4 consecutive race wins in the 450 Pro Production class, including his most recent win at Speedworld MX in Surprise, Arizona. Hot on his heels, however, has been Beau Baron. The Honda rider has kept himself within striking distance of Nelson, but an unfortunate mechanical problem at the last round leaves Baron 20 points back. Dirkie Baard, Ethan Thatcher, and Josh Row have also put in strong finishes and are looking to get to the top spot.

The Pro class won’t be the only source of great racing throughout the weekend. From 50cc to Pro/AM, the Yamaha Quad-X Series brings together racers from all skill levels on all different kinds of ATVs. As with all Quad-X events, free overnight camping at the track will be available.
