This race also features the largest field of Class 4400 Ultra 4 racers to ever enter a Best in the Desert event. Ultra 4 racers from across the United States and Canada are coming to Las Vegas to take on the challenging Silver State 300 course as they attempt to qualify for the 2012 King of the Hammers event.

The Silver State 300 course starts at an elevation of 3500 feet and climbs as high as 7400 feet as it winds its way across some of the roughest and most beautiful terrain eastern Nevada has to offer. Many races have stated that it is this extremely challenging course and perfect time of year that has made this race so attractive to them and their competitors.

Folks was quoted, As I have always said, there is no race like a Best in the Desert event. At last years Bilek Racing Silver State 300 only 94 seconds separated the winner and 2nd place; and just 7 minutes was the gap between the top 7 finishers. With this many extremely fast and professional racers signed up – the 2011 Bilek Silver State 300 will be one for the record books. Plus with temperatures in the low 60s and partly cloudy predicted for race day – its going to be another great race!

Time Trials for Classes 1400 and 1500 along with a shot at the Team Ford Pole Award will be held Thursday, April 27th. The qualifying order will be announced and the $1000 Pole Award will be presented 7 PM Thursday evening at Camachos Cantina inside the Aliante Station Hotel & Casino.

Registration, Tech Inspection and Contingency will be held on Friday, April 29, at the Aliante Station Hotel & Casino in North Las Vegas, and the race will take place on Saturday, April 30! The start line is in Alamo, Nevada and the finish line will be about 20 miles south of the Alamo area. The race is a single loop consisting 303 miles. Remember, life is short, you need to live your life to the fullest each day and grasp all of the excitement and the challenges live has to offer. Dont miss out racing and experiencing a great course and seeing what this part of Nevada has to offer.
