Riverside, California (April 13, 2011) – Anchored by Rob Naughton and Jeremy McGrath, with their exciting 1-2 performance in Round 2, Stronghold Motorsports returns to the Valley of the Sun for Rounds 3 and 4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, this Saturday and Sunday, April 16th &17th. With the hotly contested title chase taking shape in the stacked Pro 2 field, the duo of Naughton and McGrath have both established top five spots as the series heads into SpeedWorld in Surprise, Arizona.

“The win was awesome for the entire team,” explained Rob Naughton. “The crew and the team put in an unbelievable amount of hard work to make this all happen. So to have both myself and Jeremy on top of the podium, at Firebird, was very special. Now we need to continue to run up front and win races to put us in a position to win a championship.”

While the Stronghold crew found early success in Pro 2, the team, not content to rest on its laurels, took advantage of the short intermission between rounds with valuable testing time as they prepare to advance their attack on the series’ points standings.  As Jeremy McGrath prepared for rounds 3 and 4 he had this to say, “I’m glad to have gotten in some good testing and really looking forward to keeping the forward momentum going!  It’s going to be some great racing this weekend!”
