I In 1997,  Pace Promotions brought back the ever popular stadium race series, now called the  U.S. Off Road Championship Series tm.There are 11 races scheduled so far, from California to Minneapolis ending in March. You want to race? Read on!

Modified Buggies, Pro Quads, Stadium Lites and Stadium Thunder Bikes and

the cost is reasonable. In this feature, I will follow the Stadium Lite series, single seat "Honda Pilot" type vehicles.

Most vehicles in the Stadium Lite series, are based on the Honda Pilot ATV. You can pick up a stock Pilot for $7,000 or less and with another $7,000 or so, you can have a full on race machine with plenty of suspension to handle the bumps. Where else can you race off-road cars for less?

These "cars" are modified to produce 70hp and up from their maximum 500cc engines. The minimum weight including the driver, must be 800lbs. In flat out terrain, these machines can go 85 to 100 mph. Follow the drivers through the race results and see how they place in the series!
