Rebel-Star 250 Pro-Quad

ATV OnLine First Look

If you have been holding your breath waiting for one of the major manufactures (Honda, Suzuki, etc.) to launch a new race worthy quad then you must be turning a dark shade of blue by now. I just ain't going to happen. The only suitable 2-stroke race platform that is still in production is the Yamaha Banshee....and you have to give Yamaha credit for bucking the trend and keeping the Banshee on the market even though they have done little to enhance this machine for years. Most manufactures will state that the volume is now in the utility quad market and that is why they are focusing so much attention there. Well that may be true, but there are still plenty of us out here that appreciate the trill of twisting the throttle of a true high performance race machine. 250 Pro-Quad

All is not lost. The folks at Rebel-Star set out to help fill the void. They have put together a brand new race ready 250cc two stroke quad that is poised to take the race circuit (or your favorite dune/trail) by storm.

Considering what you would have to put into a stock quad (or slightly used Honda 250R or Suzuki LT250) in terms of aftermarket goodies to match this machine, the $15,900 price tag doesn't look to bad. You can buy one new, take it out of the crate, and go racing, all on the same day.

Sources say the Rotax 257 GS powerplant matched to the tried and true frame geometry, based on the Honda 250R, of this machine help it to out perform just about anything else out there. Odds are you are going to see a lot of Rebel-Stars in the winners circles in the months and years ahead.
