2002 Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4

Snorkel-type air intake systems are used to prevent the engine from ingesting water when crossing relatively deep water. With this type of system the opening for the carburetor air cleaner intake is placed as high as practically possible on the unit, usually in front of the rider, near the gas filler neck. As long as the water is kept below this level, the engine can operate normally.
