Norman's runner was purchased very loaded, including real wood and gold trim, and has seen dirt and rocks since 2.2k miles. Modifications include removing the running boards, adding 32" Goodyear tires, a K&N air filter, ARB air locker out back and a Downey 2" lift kit with Biltein shocks up front and Rancho 9000's in back. Unexpected modifications include rock dents. Next up are custom built nerf bars to protect against future unexpected modifications. Norman lives in southern California and goes wheeling in the desert and mountains of southern and central California.

Ryan's 1990 Ryan Beal's 1990 Ryan's 4Runner is a loaded 1990 SR5. He has the 3.0L V6 and an automatic transmission. This 4Runner has a K&N filter charger, Northwest Off Road stainless steel exhaust, 32" x 11.50" x 15" BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, Warn hubs, etc. Ryan wheels in the north woods of Wisconsin. Shane's 1992 Shane Simard's 1992 Shane's 92 4Runner was almost fully loaded from the factory. Add-ons include 31" BFG Mud TA's, Rancho 9000 shocks and 5000 steering stabilizer, extended diff breathers, extra accessory plug in the back, Downey 1.5" lift rear coils for 20" of rear wheel travel, Dynomax exhaust, and K&N Air Filter. John's 1997 John Lange's 1997 John's 1997 4Runner was bought new and worn-in the correct way. With only 2K miles he introduced his Runner to slickrock in Moab. The factory locker was soon put to the test. Needless to say John left that trip with a smile plastered on his face. The Runner has seen Moab several times over its 1.5 years. The Smittybuilt bars help protect the Runners front and rear and the Thule on top brings the Mt. bikes down. Soon he will be higher with a little help from Downey. Allen's 1995 Allen Dickenson's 1995 Allen's 95 4Runner Limited is basically stock for now, but many mods are on the wish list. "Fort Knox" rolls on 31x10.5 BFG All-Terrains on stock rims. Current modifications include a K&N Filtercharger, Cobra CB, Smittybilt Nerf Bars (not pictured), Toyota brush & grille guard, relocated differential breathers, air compressor, Viper C70 alarm, and 4.56 gears (o.k., they're stock, but thank you Toyota!). Nuri's 1992 Nuri's1992 Nuri's 92 4Runner is a SR5 V6 5 speed with power everything. From the ground up you will find 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud T/A's wrapped around AR-36 American Racing Tri Spoke wheels. To clear the rubber,a 4" Trailmaster lift was needed. The front rotors are CNC machine cross-drilled for better cooling and Bendix titanium metallic pads are the gripping force. Air intake is handled by a Downey Competition Air Cleaner with a 110sq" K&N Filter. Ignition is taken care of by Jacobs. Exhaust comprises of Downey headers and a Borla Catback. Mike's 1990 Mike Hershauer's 1990 Mike Hershauer's 1990 SR5 has a V6 with power everything, inhaling through a K&N filter. The 31x10.5 BFG AT's are dampened with Dick Cepek Race Series 88 shocks and steering stablizer. Other mods include Downey 2" rear springs, custom mount CB, Low profile bump stops, and engine rebuild thanks to Toyota. Current projects: Custom rear bumper and nerf bars, Easy Locker, 32x11.5 BFG Muds and lots of new skid plates. Mike wheels around Arizona and is looking for other Runners to wheel with.
 
Dave's 98 Dave Mackey's 1998 Dave's 98 4Runner SR5 V6 5-speed is stock except for the Garmin GPS. But then he's only had it for 3 months. This shot was taken in the Rocky Mountains near Calgary, Alberta where Dave lives. His wife got too scared so they had to turn back. Dave lets her drive now and again.

It rides on JAOS 8.5X16 aluminum rims wrapped with 265X75X16 BFG All-Terrain tires. Tom Rompies's 1991 Tom Rompies's 1991 Tom says he bought his SR5 V6 4Runner new in 1991. Its modifications include 33" BFG Mud Terrain tires on Hammerhead Rims, driven by 5.29 gears and an ARB Air Locker in the rear. Suspension is provided by a 4" Pro Comp front lift and 5" custom rear springs, damped by remote-controlled Rancho RS9000 shocks. The front sports an ARB Bumper with Warn winch, while the body features Bushwacker flares, Smittybilt nerf bars. The engine gets help from a K&N filtercharger and a Borla Catback exhaust. This is Tom's daily driver and he wheels it in Colorado and Utah.
Mark Ward's 1990 Mark Ward's 1990 Mark's ride is a 1990 SR5 V6 5 speed 4Runner. He has installed a Downey/Rancho suspension lift to allow room for his LT 275/85R15 Buckshots. Matt Stevens's 1990 Matt Stevens's 1990 Matt's V6-powered 4Runner has a sunroof and the SR5 package. Aftermarket goodies include Bushwacker flares, 31X12.5 BFGs, Boyd Gotcha rims, rear LockRite locker, Rancho 9000's with in cab controls, Grizzly Grill guard, a chromed skid plate, and a JVC 12 disc changer with head unit pumping though Rockford Fosgate 12" subs. After a wreck, Matt replaced the front clip with one from a '95 model.
 
Tom Greer's 1990 Tom Greer's 1990 Tom's V6-powered 4Runner is mostly stock, but that doesn't stop him from getting it off the pavement for hunting and wheeling. It has 31 inch tires and has a Cobra CB radio. Tom lives in and owns an internet service provider in Enumclaw, Washington.

Drew's 1993 Drew's 1993 Modifications include a Downey 12" Travel kit, Bushwacker flares, 33" BFGs on AFX rims, vented front rotors, Hella 2000s, KCs, Piaas 1200s and Smittybuilts all around. The engine mods include a JET chip, 36mm throttle body, K&N induction kit, Jacobs wires, MSD, Borla cat back kit and split fires. The seats are Recaro with Wet Okole skins. Drew has a Lock Right in the rear differential, and he lives near Thousand Oaks, California.
 
Arminder Sidhu's 1992 Arminder Sidhu's 1992 Arminder's black SR5 V6 5-speed features a Downey 2" lift, IFS Truss, Rancho RS9000 shocks, 32" RVT tires, a K&N air filter, a Smittybuilt pre-runner bumper, KC 165 watt Daylighter lamps, and a Realistic CB with a Wilson attenna.
 
El Manalo's 1996 SR5 El Manalo's 1996 El's V6-powered 4Runner sports a Manik Grill and Brush Guard that holds Hella 4000 Halogen lights with 130W bulbs and Hella 550FF foglights. Smittybuilt nerf bars protect the sides. His list of interior modifications includes Husky front and rear mats, a Weathertech cargo mat, Performance products seat covers, and window tints around the rear windows. El plans to do some off-road modifications in the future.

Franks 1990 2-door 4Runner Frank Di Giovanni's 1990 Check out this rare 2-door 1990 4Runner! Frank has added Trailmaster shocks, a Warn combo winch bumper, and Smittybuilt nerf bars. Under the hood is a V6 breathing through a K&N air filter and sparked by an Aurora igntition. It rides on BFG All-terrain tires. Frank also has a Hi-lift jack and a CB radio. Michael's 1993 4Runner Michael Garrison's 1993 Michael has a V6 and 4.56 differential gearing. He has a Downey 1.5" lift, which includes new coils, shocks, shock mounts, brake lines, and 26mm torsion bars.
 

Chris Geiger's 1993 Chris has a solid axle conversion by All Pro that includes a 4" spring lift. Custom 5" over stock rear coil springs and a 1" body lift, make room for 33 X 12.50 BFG tires (35's soon to come), Detroit rear locker.  This sharp-looking rig has a V6 and 5-speed transmission. Deanne's 1994 4Runner Deanne Lacasse's 1994 Deanne has a V6 with an automatic transmission. Traction is maintained by a factory(!) limited-slip differential pushing BFG All-Terrain tires. Her rig also features a sunroof and a CD player. Deanne lives in Chemainus, B.C., Canada on Vancouver Island.
 
Bill's 1994 4Runner near a mountain stream Bill Morency's 1994 Bill's rig has the 3.0 liter 3VZ-E engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. He runs 31" BFG All-Terrain tires on 15" rims. Modifications include a K&N air filter, Smittybuilt nerf bars, and a Cobra CB with a 5' Firestik antenna. His future modifications will include a 3" Downey suspension kit, 33" BFG Mud Terrains to help out on the muddy forest trails near Seattle where he wheels, and maybe a custom front bumper with a Warn winch to get him out of those sticky spots. Editor's note: I've personally wheeled with Bill, and seen him get in mud so deep he can't get his doors open. Get the winch, Bill! :)
